Isha's Story

Isha Agarwal lived life with passion, compassion, and a heart full of love. Family and friends were at the center of her world.

In September 2021, Isha was diagnosed with an aggressive form of soft tissue cancer. She bravely endured a challenging year of chemotherapy and radiation at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Despite the devoted care of her medical team and her fierce determination, Isha peacefully transitioned to eternal life in February 2023, just months before her 16th birthday.

A dedicated 10th-grade honor student at Rutgers Preparatory School in New Jersey, Isha remained grateful to everyone involved in her care—doctors, friends, and family—and inspired those around her to continue fighting cancer.

Her spirit of gratitude and love fuels the mission of Isha Cares: supporting families facing cancer by alleviating financial burdens and assisting charities that serve disadvantaged and marginalized communities.
